I took the $500 CLI from Discover, and then right after tried hit the button for another increase but got the decline and 3-5 day message. So I called Discover and told them I was hoping to get a little more. The rep said another $500 is available for me through soft pull, and I accepted. $1000 increase today, now at $5000. Thanks guys!

Congrats on the CLI. Just remember that Disco is always an SP, you can do it 5 times a month and there will be no hit to your CR. I usually do it every 2 weeks. Also, if you do get an increase, always call in to see what else is available. Disco is known to leave $ on the table.

Congrats on your CLI, it's good to see someone getting one. I've apparently offended the ancestors of the "Great Discover," can't get an increase even with a "pretty please" added on top. Enjoy your increase!

I opened the Discover It card on Jul 2nd with a $4000 SL. I have requested a cli about a month ago and was denied but after 3 statements, I was successful in getting a $1000 cli with the double dip. My spend on it may be only around $100-$150 a month. Could be a little less, always PIF.
