Discover finally gave me a CLI.
Went from $600 to $1600 automatically
Card started out $200 secured.
Graduated at 7 statement.
Raised to $600 then nothing for 8 months.
Score raised 35 points from last CLI
And over 100 points since account opening.
I had tried for an increase 2 days after after my statement cut. Denied.
Was sorta surprised when I saw this.
I had called yesterday and complained about my CL being so low.

It’s enough of an increase to keep the card though since it’s a 5% card, I don’t need a huge limit but the $600 was laughable.
Before the increase its was 5X lower then my 2nd lowest CL and 31X lower then my highest CL.
Still my lowest card by far, and it survived the chopping block for now.

Congrats! I went dry today. 2nd statement got 1000, no DD, 3rd statement 1500, 4th statement....NADA! Now I'll get the AJC $500 special from now on I guess.

Interesting.. Iv had an interesting situation... While i was on chat with Disco trying to find out about what was going on with the IUP/Citizens bank passing the buck over mispulling the iphone loan... Had a bit of smalltalk .. Guess im not the first one having issues with Citizens and the autopays for the IUP.. (Iphone upgrade program) and do recall mentioning perhaps i shoulda just paid it in full or paid it off.. Oddly enough afterwards I either got an auto or tried for a CLI a day or so later, and got much more than expected.... Just know it completely caught me offguard... Iv seen some others who have been denied CLIs get autoclis not too far from the request.. Wonder if they do actually kick it up or somehow flag the account to have it looked over or do it when the member becomes eligible..... Discover doesn't do recons but I wouldnt be surprised if theres some voodoo at play here...
