Today I trot out the the mailbox and I see an evelope from First National Bank of Omaha. Open it up and it's a pre-approval letter. Go to this website, fill in the codes and get your card. Hummm. Is this really and approval? I don't want to waste andother HP on my CR only to get turned down. Anyone else have this? No baddies my scores are in the low 700's and I have a ton of inquiries.
Thanks
I'm in the same shape score wise. I applied the other day, they pulled TU and gave me a $6k line. Not my highest but a good starting point.
Did you get a pre-approval letter or just apped off the web?
I just apped of the web, and i got declined. Dont know the score yet.
Two Tradelines 1-Secured 2) KOHLs . Secured has on-time payments for 1 year, KOHL's has 1 mo reporting only
They pulled Experian for me. Some other poster is mentioning TU; I m in Texas
I never got a pre-approval letter from them. I would app for a secure card with FNBO first to see if they are accepting apps in the region.
Pre-approval is never a sure thing but from what I've read and also my own personal experience, FNBO pre-approvals carry lots of weight. I think they pre-quality before send them out. Good luck!
FNBO pre-approvals have been pretty solid from what I've read. They are also awesome on CLIs and give you a free EX 08 FICO score.
Good to know Meg. I'm sitting here with a Cigar in one hand and an unopened bottle of Buffalo Trace in the other. Maybe I'll wait till tonight and pull the trigger. Hate to lose my spade however.

Don't go drapping, please!![]()
I'll be good. The last drapping episode I had was about 2 years ago. 21 apps in one night! I'm on the wagon. (I think)

@Anonymous. Mine started @ 3,600.00 and is now @ 8,900.00 all through auto CLIs. I'm also loving the Experian FICO score.
