FNBO instant approval!

hello everyone!

got a preapproval in the mail, it took me 2 weeks to push the button.

so when i finally did, I got an instant approval but no other information.

Do they ever approve, then deny later down the line?

My scores are eq 742, tu 725

I didn't know they gave instant approvals. I got a preapproval for their Amex card and went to the website and input my code, but got no instant approval. I did know shortly later that I got the card. Are you sure you read it right?

It is by will alone I set my mind in motion.....
Always follow these rules: Only take a HP for a new account. Always use the best rewards card for that reward category. Don't close a card unless you know you really should. Never use more than 35% of a credit limit. Recon as much and as best you can. Use the introductory period to the best advantage. Get the signup bonus. Whenever possible PIF or balance transfer so you pay less in interest. Never give an excellent rating when it is actually the norm. Always look for a discount as more is always better.
Always accept candy from strangers because they have the best candy or from people you know have good candy.

Yes once I submitted the application it said congratulations you are approved, I was surprised also. I read here they don't give instant answers. But I guess YMMV.

Went to the website and I was approved for 2800. I also applied for the chase freedom was approved there also. Off to the garden for me.

Maybe they are chaning, mine took 3-4 days to get approved. In a way its nice to know that a human reviewed my credit and still approved me without a recon.

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?
