I'm reviving this thread because there are a lot of good questions / experiences / data points requested regarding Fifth Third that would be helpful.

My experience:

I received a pre-approved offer in the mail and the following day I applied online. I received a message saying they have my application and to call when I receive my card to add AUs. And a phone number to customer service. Really limited. I waited 2 full days and on day 3 I called and asked for an app status. The CSR was nice and sounded surprised that I would ask for status since my card was already mailed. I told her I had no other information. I asked for the particulars on the approval. I received a $4k SL, & 19.96% variable rate. I'm not happy with this starter limit. It better grow fast or it's to the SD!

I had this card in the Credit Karma app as a recommendation with good approval odds, so I applied. I don't know much about Fifth Third Bank. I was approved with a $6500 CL, 0% interest for 15 months, no annual fee. My CK scores are 735, 736...and I have had a lot of inquiries (15+) within the past two years.
