GE Backdoor CLI-THANKS!

I do have a silly question.  Walmart 3000.00 Limit is my biggest limit so far on my credit report.

DOES THIS COUNT AS A BIG BOY LIMIT?

It is all relative. I remember when I thought 1000 was a huge limit. At one point I thought 3000 was a huge limit. If the limit suits you then yes it would be a "big boy" limit. You could actually look at it as you have a 9500 from GE Capital Retail Bank, which is decent for a lot of people. Down the road then that 3000 turns into 30000, you will probably look back at this and laugh.

Re: GE Backdoor CLI-THANKS!

lol not that i think "big boy limit" should really matter or not, but if I had to put a credit limit on it I would say $5,000 is a big boy limit since that's where Visa Signiture, and World Mastercard begins.

Re: GE Backdoor CLI-THANKS!

The only reason I mention it is because i noticed on Cap1's defintion of excellent credit it states " Credit Card wit a 3,000 limit or more"

Re: GE Backdoor CLI-THANKS!

lol that's good. my dad wanted credit cards before a vacation, so he got the delta skymiles first amex ever for him. and only $1,000 starting limit. so after that I considered $5,000 a good credit limit since that's about how much he spent on a week vacation cruise hotel food car rental etc. they weren't pinching pennies too much as well so that worked out really good.

So for me personally $5,000 is a big boy limit cause you can buy two international flights for a vacation to travel half way around the country for you and your gf or wife, and some spending cash left over. I wouldn't want to max out multiple cards on one vacation.
