Instant approvals on all 3! BCE - 5k, Freedom - 7k, Discover - ??...thanks to everyone who offered advice, encouragement, or listened while I contemplated going for new cards over the last several months. Off to the garden for me...
Planning on going for all three and a possible travel rewards card...anyone know who is most sensitive to inquiries so I can do that one first?
Ex: 4 HP (3 auto, 1 Verizon)
TU: 3 HP (2 auto, 1 CC)
EQ: 1 HP (1 CC)
- all HPs older than 6 months old
Student loans and an auto loan, clean reports. Util. is around 12% if my Barclay that was paid to $0 on 02/24 posted to the bureaus.
Cheers

I would do Freedom, Amex, it or amex then freedom depending which you want more but don't think it would be an isseue.
id go amex first
Sallie Mae Rewards card beats the BCE when it comes to cash back on Grocery and/or Gas Station purchases.

I would strongly consider that card. Unless you average more than $75 a week on groceries, then you should consider the BCP (but still get the Sallie mae for Gas).
I never considered the Sallie Mae card...I'm already in with Barclay with the Apple Financing card. Perhaps I'll give it a go.
I definitely want both the Freedom and Amex. I plan on doing the It last and hope they pull EQ since the other two are almost guaranteed to be Experian or TU. From what I've seen Discover pulls EQ fairly often.

Just do it like a pro and open up 3 browsers, and fill out all 3 apps, then bang, bang, bang.........
I have all 3 Cards....me for Amex pulled EX, Discover pulled EQ, Chase pulled TU (approved yesterday!)

...and he makes it sound so simple, haha. Congrats on the approvals! You did all three yesterday in one shot or just the Chase Freedom? I've been contemplating it for awhile, trying to get my utilization to be just right, but I realized that it will never be perfect and right around 12% should be fine. Just dreading the denial screen...
Please tell me you are doing this in real time and sharing each result as soon as you know. I've been waiting on one of these for a while... real time apps with updates every 30 seconds.... LOL
Seriously, good luck! I'm very interested to hear the outcome.
Hey axledobe, I just responded to your post too, haha. I'm sitting here looking at the app screens wanting to pull the trigger. I'm pre-approved for the Freedom and It but not for the BCE. I just have to hit enter. Fearful of the denial screen like I said earlier.
