@Anonymous wrote:Hi Twas_Sovereign! I won't be eligible for the Student it card because I goto a community college. I've heard rumors about being offered a secured card from Discover, but not to everyone.
I wasn't talking about the student version but the Discover IT card. Discover is a little more relaxed to lending to people with thin files. After reading your posts and seeing some of your baddies I would just try to be patient and wait it out. Once the baddies drop off your scores will jump up a lot higher and it also allows your accounts to age even more. Giving you the best opportunity to apply for prime cards and giving you the optimal chances at being approved.
Yeah I had a dillards amex through them. I paid the collection agency. Generic as in everywhere, not one particular place.

Vitacost is a MasterCard and also a great online store for health stuff.
Walmart (can have a discover version as you build up
chevron can have a visa version
otherwise think you need to wait a bit longer.

Welcome to the forum. I notice that you might not know how to respond to posts by using our quote feature.
1. Click "reply" on the post you want to respond to.
2. To the right of the Spell Check button -- and above the message post window -- you will see the quote button. It should look like this:
3. Tap the quote bubble to insert the text of the post you are responding to and the block of text will appear in the message post window.
4. Type your response below the quoted block of text and then click preview if you'd like to proof the post before submitting, or click "Post" at the bottom of the message post window.
Ok, Thanks everyone for your input. I appreciate it! ![]()
