Haha I guess your massive portfolio freaked them out. I am glad you were able to keep one of the cards! Thanks Baller. It was the portfolio, not a fraud issue. To give them credit, they did apologize for the situation. In the grand scheme of things, $7,500 will not make or break me. They're also taking off one of the inq's.
Lol, that's an understatement, that comment gave me a good laugh into the long holiday weekend.
Congrats 12njoy, enjoy!
If they had agreed to remove the inquiries I would agreed to close everything. Thanks for congr. I was strongly encouraged to use the card so I can get an increase in the future. That was brought up by them because they see that I'm using very little of my credit. This one will go into the rotation with the rest. The only card that I use on a regular basis is the BP visa for gas. The PenFed cash rewards week be a regular use card too since I can get 5% back off gas

@12njoy wrote:Received a call from DCU stating that they did a fraud review of my account because I had so much available credit that was not in use. Said they wanted to make sure it was me who actually applied. I'm not sure if I can go for that considering that they never asked me for any more documentation. To make a long story short, the card had previously been mailed out and the limit has been restored. The 2nd card that I applied for will stay denied due to the amount of credit available and new accounts which is the real reason for the freeze IMO.
Congratulations! I'm glad it worked out for you.
Thanks
