Finally, I got approved for BCE with $1k limit. Was very surprised cuz my FICO score is 630. So how does this limit increase work? In 60 days I can request additional $2k to make it $3k, and the same for the next 2 months?

Congrats! Just to clarify...61 days! After that, it's 6 months between approved increases and 3 between CLI denials.

I applied for bce and was approved for 1k also. Tan i asked for amex ed card. After five days hold i was approved for 10 k for the ed. It was another hard pull but super worth it

I'm also in the same boat - I was approved for the BCE with a $1K limit and they just don't seem to want to give me any CLI's on it.  I've had it since March and tried for a CLI in June and they didn't even counter with anything, just a flat out denial of "account too new".  I'm going to try again at the end of August and see if I'll get lucky.

I'm going to apply for the ED card in a week or so - A couple of questions for you:

How long did you have your BCE before you applied for the ED?  Did you get a targed email a few weeks ago?  Prequal - Or did you cold app?

Thinslicedbread i didn't get any emails nor was I prequalified for either card. I applied the next day after bce approval. It was put on hold for five days. On the fifth day i was approved for the ed. I signed in and the limit was 10k.
