Instant Approval - BofA Premium Rewards $37,200 SL

Decided to take the plunge and start a relationship with BofA.  I opened up a checking acount earlier this week with a $100 SUB and deposited enough cash to immediately qualify for Platinum status in their Preferred Rewards program.  I also started an application for a Merrill investment account where I'm seeking a $150 SUB and I'll be applying for a Merrill rollover retirement account as well where I'm seeking a second $150 SUB.  By the end of the month, I *should* be qualified for Platinum Honors status based on total assets across the BofA & Merrill accounts and qualified for $400 in SUBs.

I was going to wait until I acheived Platinum Honors status to apply for the Premium Rewards card so I'd be earning 3.5% on dining & travel and 2.625% on everything else on day 1, but an itchy trigger got the best of me and I submitted the application this morning.  To my pleasant surprise, I received an instant approval with a $37,200 SL (my highest SL to date) and the 50k points ($500) SUB to boot!  The credit gods have certainly smiled upon me.

I switched all my travel spend to the bofa customized cash for the 5.25% return. Have the us pride also for online spend. Might look into those cards
