Just Got Approved for a Capital One Venture X and AMEX Platinum...should I go on a spree?

Just applied and got approved for the Capital One Venture X, $20k SL. This is my only card other than an Amex Gold as an AU. Are there other cards I should apply for to round out my earning categories? Thanks!

Edit: After getting approved for the Capital One Venture X, I got trigger happy and applied for an AMEX Platinum and got approved also! Capital One did pull all 3 bureaus, AMEX pulled Experian. The only bad thing is I also applied for a Citi Premier and got denied for too many inquiries (they also pulled Experian)...

Secondly, it's hard to give you a good answer to your question without knowing what kind of rewards you're after and what your monthly spend looks like.

I mainly accumulate points to transfer to Singapore Airlines, as I am based between LA and Southeast Asia. Those 17 hour direct flights are more comfortable in business class.

Monthly spend is mostly on shopping, dining, and travel around $5k-10k or so. Much of my spend is reimbursed.
