I joined Langley FCU earlier this year after reading positive reviews from several forum members (particularly @AverageJoesCredit), and just a few weeks ago, I started seeing preapproved offers for their Platinum Visa. I don't need another balance transfer card, so I decided to apply for the Signature Cash Back VISA instead. At the end of the application process, I received an approval for "up to $15000," and was told to expect a call from them. About 10 minutes after completing the application, they called and told me that I could have whatever limit I wanted up to the approved $15K - don't think I've ever heard of anything like that before! So of course I took the full amount. They gave me their lowest APR - 10.75% (which doesn't matter as I don't intend to carry a balance).
They pulled EQ, which is 780 as of today (other 2 bureaus are between 780 and 800 at last check). Fortunately, I have only 7 EQ INQ in the past 12 months (one of which is the initial membership INQ for Langley, another from my PenFed membership, and a third for this new Langley card). Total revolving UTI is currently 5.5%-ish, income $131.1K.
Congrats on your approval!
Congrats on your approval!!
