The only two cards I don't have are a Capital One and a Citibank so I decided to go for the quicksilver one...approved with a $300 limit and $39 annual fee. Can anyone tell me if these graduate or limits increase? Should I attempt to recon once I get the card? Either for more funds or something?
On the other hand I'm really excited to have a Capital One card finally!
Mine started at $300 as well , a year later its now$1500
Do you still have the AF? Did you have to ask for the increase or was it automatic? Thanks for the info.
Most cap one cards come with the credit step program I believe after 6 months.. with option to Increase CLI after showing proper usage.

Congrats on your approval
I got an email from Cap1 a month later after opening a QS card stating what my CL would be after 5 successful payments. You'll probably receive one to.
Grats on the Cap-1 and it will move up as you go thru the credit steps program.
Congrats on your approval.
Back in 2009/2010 I was approved in their credit steps program. I believe I started with a $750 CL and after 6 months it was raised to $1750 (I may be a little off on those numbers, but it eventually went from $750 to $1,750 without me requesting a CLI).
They are a conservative lender but with certain people, they will grow. I never got a significant CLI because I did not use their card once I was approved for a Chase Student card with DW.
congrats
