@Anonymous wrote:Wow this is fantastic that they approved your application. Congrats !!! They denied my father application with only 5 INQ on EQ...
Thanks Mia. Sorry to hear. Does he have ARS and IDS on ice?
No He does not, but when he called they said in order to recondider the application they will pull another report. He declined.
I wonder if that's why I get approved with all my inq's. Don't know but there's no ryme or reason to it.
@Anonymous: I think the key is getting your foot in the door with that all important first card--after that one the rest become a little easier if you maintain a good profile. I got in back in the beginning of 14' with a pre-selected mailer for their AMEX, and now I have that and their Business Edition Visa.

Interesting data, but I don't think my father and I want to do business with them ( our choices).
@Mia,
I understand all about personal choices
Nice looking card
@Mia--It's all good. But I will say from experience I'd much--Much--MUCH rather do business with FNBO than with harda$$ed Chase. Out of all my 2+ year old cards, my Chase cards and my OCCU Beaver card are the only ones still at their original SL's....Plus Chase's live-person customer service is terrilbe compared to FNBO's. Just my 2 cents.
Wow!! congrats!! I pulled up a new report yesterday and have 30 inq on my EX and I thought that was bad. So reading that you have 50 makes me feel so much better!! haha! and I giggle when I see ppl app for this card because I live in LV and it makes me want to get the card and stay at MGM properites for the heck of it lol!!
But nonetheless enjoy the card and happy travels
I would venture a guess 12njoy that you keep and maintain a pretty solid low overall utility ratio <10%.
I've discovered that many lenders are far more comfortable and it's much more easier to come away with good news! especially when they see your utilization is within those certain parameters.

I'm at about 3%. I bet if I didn't have all these inquiries though, I could have reached a cool mill. There are some lenders who are very afraid of the inq's even though they can see I'm not using all the credit. Nonetheless some look at the potential to use it all.
