Re: Macys 30 Days CLI train

Thanks mister E,

I noticed when I did cli request this time it asked for income and housing payment. The other prior times it didn't. Is this a good indicator that the 30 day timeframe is good to go? I think I'll ask to double my limit in 30 days. Nothing to lose on a SP. I was very surprised on the instant cli approval. The other two times I had to call in. But at any point, you provided valuable info.

hmm thats interesting... the online app has always asked for my income and housing payments for as long as I remember. Perhaps u just noticed it for the first time or may have forgotten? Based on the fact that I've gotten a CLI consistenly since August 2017 till date, (I get declined applying even a day early) it's safe to say ur good to go every 30days. Also be mindful once u reach $25k as I hear they start to request to pull credit or provide POI although I never encountered that yet.

Re: Macys 30 Days CLI train

This was the first time I got those questions. The first two times, I hit the luv button and it said I need to call in to complete my request. I was actually surprised to see these questions today. I'm pleased how quickly my limit has risen from $1,000 to $12,000 since December 2017. I'll try to get that 25k and call it a day, I hope.

Re: Macys 30 Days CLI train

I think I got knocked of that choo choo  been asked to call in the last 2 months for mine I’m at 23.6k before I always asked for a 5k increase and would either take it or counter with 1500 hasn’t happened last 2 months

just noticed yours  is the Amex version mine is the store card,  does the branded Amex’s like that count towards your amex 5 revolver limit? Or is it just the ones you apply directly on their site for count?

Co-branded Amex (other than the one's you apply for directly with Amex) doesn't count toward the 5 limit.

Re: Macys 30 Days CLI train

Congrats on your cli! Ive gone from $500 to $2400 to $5000 in 3 months on the store version. What I noticed this time when I hit the button, it asked to send a code to my cell number. That's when I knew I was good.

All my CLI’s hasn’t been entirely online, on few occasions it made me call in after attempting the increase on the website but I still got approved for the usual $1.5k thru a CSR. I’m sure 12njoy answered this already but the Macys card is actually underwritten by DSNB a subsidiary of Citigroup and has absolutely nothing to do with American Express. On that note, unless a card is not listed directly on AMEX ‘s website then it’s not an actual AMEX and wouldn’t count towards the 5 revolver limit.
