well yesterday. After realizing I've not used my Macy's card since black Friday. I decided to ask for increase from the paltry 1k. So with Macy's. There is no love button. You have to send secure message. Which I did. And they like your comments as well when asking for increase. I stated I wanted to go from 1k to 2500. As I would like to purchase to suits from Macy's for a wedding. Got message we will get back to you. Now keep in mind on Macy's website I never tells you your actual limit. It's like you must guess. Anyway. This morning I got email that I have message from Macy's. I read it. It says. We are happy to inform you of your increase of $xxx increase to your account. So I go online to see what I got. I see. Nothing the. I called to see what my increase was. 200'dollars. What. I put it back in the sock draw. Too tight. For any real usage
Better than nothing.
Did you try requesting for the Macys Amex? I'd call them and see if you qualify.

You're right. But geez. That tight. Did not think of amex. Which I know it would be two trade lines with Macy's. So I will stay with centurion
you can do chat also for cli, seems to be faster.
I try to use my card BEFORE requesting a CLI
Let a statement post with a balance of some sort, make a payment and then request the cli becuase if it has been more than 4 months since last use I feel like this triggers the sp AR also!
If you have no use and they use an AR from 2-3 months back might be your reason for the very small increase.

Thanks. I wonder if I can go to chat and say that 200 just won't do. I will be forced to use another card and not get the 20% off promo. Hmm. Or is it too late?

it's a computer system like sync so you probably need to use it and wait 3 months.

Ok thanks. Just what I will do.
Any CLI is a good CLI, you have to look positively on it for CLIs to snowball in the future, grats on getting it ![]()
Congrats on the CLI!
Congratulations!
