So I am going to accept this because it will more then double my current available credit limits and the annual fee is not too excesive.
Merrick Bank
$750 initial limit which doubles to $1,500 after 7 months.
24.7% APR
$48 annual fee
25 day grace period
Yes I have that card with no problems. I applied with the mail offer April '16 but I did not have an annual fee. Got my increase Dec'16
Of all the "re-builder" cards, this one is probably the best. I have it and my limit doubled as promised. I used it and PIF pretty frequently in the beginning but, now that I have better cards with rewards, I use those. My AF is $25. I have seem them range from $0 to $75 or so, not sure how they are determined. When mine comes up to a year, I am going to see if they will waive it. Anyway, I recommend this one for those in re-building mode.
Nothing but good things to say about the company. Maybe could wait until there's no annual fee, for the first year. Definitely helped me build up some history. Finally closed mine just in november of last year, only a little over a year after opening it, but i'll always be grateful to that company for being helpful, and having kind customer service....... and for not being credit one.
I like my Merrick card because I haven't had any problems with the card and my limit is $1500.00 and my card has NO AF ![]()
I had this secured $200 card when rebuilding it helped me get when i am today, only used it for 12 months, i never got the doubled or anything out of them. No mailers since either2 years ago.

Merrill seems to be the bank of many different offers. I got the preapproval mailer over the summer... double CL after 6 months, with no fees ever period.. no ftf, cash advance, or late fees!
I got an offer like that too, and would have gladly taken that over Credit One any day of the week. I already had Capital One, Discover, and the Barclay's NFL Extra Points at that time, though, so I decided not to accept it.
