Did both card lenders pull the same credit bureau?

Nope 

penfed = EQ

USB =TU

 

i was fairly low on both.  EQ was 3 and TU was 1 prior to the apps.

asked for $20k

they pulled TU again

3 days later the CL was updated to $20k
