I was inspired to see if I could get an approval from Navy Federal Credit Union after reading topics that I felt was experiencing simular situation which was, I have been a member for 8 years and have had a credit card previously that was closed by the creditor and I currently have a balance that I am working to pay off as well as a car loan, so naturally I was not sure if I would be approved. So after some self talk and card choice decisions I hit the button.I was so nervous I left the phone and went to the bathroom when I returned seconds later with doubt in my mind the message said they will respond in 24-48 hours, I thought to myself I know it, and gave myself more self talk to ease the pain of later rejection. Well the morning came and I checked my emails as I do every morning and to my excitement not surprise because nfcu has never turned me down.I see congratulations..now the surprise come when I see the limit [drum roll]...$20,000. My very first card was only 2,000 so this gave me a huge surprise.
