Thank you so much for the update and congrats on getting the $4K which seems to be the max as @AllZero mentioned! Hopefully by the time you are ready for the next CLI try in 6 months the flood gates will be open again! You did great my friend! Let us know if you are planning on going for the next card and I hope you have a great week ahead!! ![]()
Yeah, Navy gave out a lot of $500 bumps outside of the 6 month window when the pandemic hit but there weren't any reports (that I recall) of four digit increases unless it was the full six months. It seemed like a $500 Covid relief bump. Some people who waited the full six only got $500 and unfortunately, a $500 CLI resets the six month clock. Congrats on your success mid-cycle! $500 is still progress!! Hope all is well with you and yours!! ![]()
Navy doesn't do auto increases by default. The ability is blocked so you need to request the card be eligible for auto increases.

Congratulations on your NFCU CLI!
91/3 and I would apply for the new card before CLI. JMHO
@Kinglord wrote:@Anonymous And for all of you following. Received zero notifications after submitting the CLI but 48 hours later my CL increased by $4K.
I was hoping for more but I will gladly take it!! Sooo when can I request again..!?!?
Congratulations on your Increase!!!
Congratulations on your increase!!!!!

@Anonymous wrote:It is 91 days from the approval date and three statements. I received my CLI $10K>$18K when I had two full statements and a partial from the first month but many report that having three full statements is the way to go.
There aren't many reports of auto increases at Navy so best to apply for the CLI. Right now it seems like they are still doing SP's but that could change at any time. As far as over $25K, the cards can all go to $50K with the exception of the Flagship which is $80K. Be aware that for requests over $25K, you may need to provide POI, however Navy seems to be asking randomly for POI for CLI's of any amount lately. Ask big and they will counter if they can't go that high. After you are successful with a CLI, the next one isn't available for 6 months on that specific card. If the CLI is denied, you are free to try again at any time.
You can apply for the 2nd card after the initial 91 days and 3 statements (3 full statements) on card number one. Many suggest applying for card number two before going for the CLI but YMMV.
Please keep us in the loop and my fingers are crossed for your success with both!
Yeah I had the same thing happened to me. I jumped the gun and received $500 which I believe was a nice way of them saying here goes you a COVID CLI. I'll gamble in Oct and see what happens. Worse case they say no and I wait until January. I love Navy!!
Grats OP!
