Hey all!
I say this every time but I've learned SO much from everybody on these forums. My DW and I recently paid off a bunch of cards so I started looking at increasing our CLs and which card we should get to do a BT on the two cards that still have balances. Before I applied for Navy Fed I did CLI soft pull requests on CareCredit (8K to 15K), LazyBoy (1,100 to 4,600), Paypal Extras (3K to 6K), her Paypal (4,500 to 9K), and Discover (9K to 10K). I have an option to upgrade our Delta Amex but I'm sitting on it for now. I read on the forums that you can change the card type (only from a points card to a points card OR a cash back card to a cash back card).
Navy Fed was the only hard pull and well worth it because they approved 18K after a review of 2 days!! I had a checking and savings account with them in the 90s but had closed it. They let me reopen it and I got my member status back, member since 1998!
My scores are current in my siggy. We've had all the cards except Navy Fed for at least a few years, some much longer. I have a collection on my report from a few years ago from a chiro that hurt my neck and wouldn't be nice so it's stupid but it's on there. I need to figure out who it's with and do a PFD but haven't made time. My wife is waiting for a BK to fall off in 2023. Please let me know if you have any questions, happy to help
