Hi SedementaryRock.

1. I would check with Navy Fed about refinancing your Auto loan. You might well get a better rate and get far away from Wells.

2. I cant offer any advice on Navy's mortgage products as I haven't any experience with them. But you can certainly do you own due diligence and research, and these boards are a valuable resource for doing just that in the Mortgage section.
