Nice! Congratulations.
Thanks everyone you're all great. If it wasn't for this forum I wouldn't have gotten even a tenth of credit I have now.

I have no idea what an RTR is but I will find out and I will set it up. Thank you for the warning about restaurant charges. I'll make sure to just keep using my Savor card for restaurants.
Groucho Marx said he'd never join a club that would have him as a member but if The Precious Club will let me in who am I to refuse?
Congrats on the approval!
It's a nice club to be a member of (even if they let riffraff like me sneak in)... your official robe is on the way, and it won't take you long to learn the chants.
What color are the robes? I'll want to make sure I have some matching socks when I wear mine. 😁
Hi,
I just got my card and I'm very excited! I was surprised and pleased to learn that I got the lowest APR available on this card! Does anyone know when they charge the first annual fee? I know it's not waived the first year. I'm wondering for AZEO purposes.

For me the fee posted on the final day of my first statement.
Keep in mind, if you have any immediate travel or restaurant charges those will also get credited on the first statement (up to $325). In my case I had travel expenses my first month, so my AF was effectively $75 right away.
Also remember U.S. Bank reports your balance on the last day of the month, not the statement balance.
Congrats on the approval!
Thank you for the information @UncleB .
My statement closing date is 2/27/23 so I think it will be a challenge to keep it from reporting. I have a little touch of the AZEO OCD but I'm very happy to have this card so if it reports a balance it reports a balance. Not the end of the world.

I hear ya.
I'm not trying to do AZEO, but I do try to keep 'nuisance balances' from reporting since Vantage can take wild dips at times. For those keeping score at home I care about Vantage since that's what Synchrony uses, and I have five accounts with them - including my two oldest credit accounts.
Anyway, since U.S. Bank reports weird I just assume that my cards with them will always report something, and I concentrate on my other cards with my $0 reporting games.
While I'm at it, I'll also share that my Altitude Reserve has been rock-solid (and U.S. Bank in general)... they're up there with Amex for me. No matter where I am or how 'weird' the transaction is, there's never a concern with false fraud declines, etc... it just works.

That's really nice to know. I plan to go north of here and buy cigarettes to help meet some of my spending requirement for the SUB. I always get a little nervous when I charge $1K at an out of area supermarket. Especially since they make me break the purchase up into 3 transactions. Capital One sent me a text the first time I did it but the purchases all went through. Disco and AOD have never had any problems with it.
Unfortunately Vantage scores are going to be important to most of us now since they are going to start using them to underwrite mortgages.
Thanks for taking the time to answer my question. 🙂
