LMAO!!!!!!!!
You've just reminded me of a time (several months back) I was heading to the gym. I was in the parking lot and saw this female with two kids walking opposite my direction. I stopped on my tracks to let them through (between some cars) and whatever those two kids were talking about, all I heard was "totally" but it was lengthened to something along the lines of, "toooeeedally." LMAO!!! That stayed with me for weeks!!
But anyway, congrats OP!
LOL I know what you mean...smileyvery-happy:...my work here done! Yea I get it from a old Mgr. I had at work...when ever someone did good he would always use that as a saying!!! Too funny man...too funny ![]()
@Anonymous wrote:After using the pre-qualify soft inquiry, it said I had a selected offer for the Blue Cash Everday card from American Express. I decided to give it a try even though I prefer to be in the garden, but it's hard to resist. I was suprised, but I did get approved after the application. Just a $1,000 SCL but I will take it. So happy!
If anybody can give me advice on how to ask for credit line increases (without a hard pull), I would appreciate it.
Back in the garden I go (for at least 6 months).
Congrats and welcome to the Amex family! Definitely read up on the 3x CLI threads in this forum, but remember, your mileage may vary. It took me nearly a year of good use and excellent payment history for them to up my BCE limit. I still love Amex the best, though, because they gave me a chance when I was borderline and I consider them my prestige cards. I always feel like such a success when I hand over an American Express card. It reminds me of how far I've come in the past 18 months.
Enjoy your card!

Congrats on your Amex approval. You can request a CLI after 61 days - it will be a SP. If the CLI is granted, you will need to wait 180 days for the next CLI.
Everything could change if there are changes on your profile. In my opinion, because they only gave you 1K to SL, I will think you should 6 months.
In my experience with Amex, they like heavy use on the card and PIF every month. This way, you will raise internal score and higher limits can be granted.
