So before I went into the garden yesterday I was approved for the PayPal MC with a $4K SL! I wasn’t expecting much after my $1k approvals so was very pleasantly surprised. I wanted a 2% cash back card and heard good things about this one so took the plunge. After gaining 3 new cards this weekend I have all the cards I want and need and now I can grow them. It was a good weekend lol.

Some food for thought: If you're interested in converting your new
2% card into a 3% card, you might wanna give PayPal customer
service a call and ask if they'll send you a PayPal Business Debit
Mastercard. Long story short, the Business Debit Card pays 1%
on all online/instore purchases. Just like you have a checking acct
linked to PayPal, you'll now be able to link your new 2% card for funding.
So you'll get 3% each time you make a purchase with Business Debit.
For every $100 in purchases, $3 will show up in your PayPal account:
$1 from the 1% Business Debit, and $2 from your new 2% card as
you pay off the balance. It's a pretty sweet deal. So like I said, just
give PayPal customer service a call and they'll walk you thru the steps.

Short answer is No. All you'd need to do is upgrade
your PayPal personal account to a business account.
Then PayPal will send you the 1% Business Debit card.
You'll still be able to link your personal 2% MC as
your funding source. But like n_la and I said, just call
PayPal customer service and they'll walk you thru it.
