I was just approved for the PenFed Platinum Visa for $6,500 ... Still a ways to go to catch up to you superstars but two years ago Avant was hesitant to raise my $300 limit. 

Maybe now I'll finally win her love ...

It appears that they pulled from Equifax, and according to this site's tool, my score on that bureau is only 680.

Congrats, ask for my P2, did you have any prior relationship with PenFed? Or did you join and just apply?

Congratulations on the 6500 smackers. I remember the 300 cl and lucky enough to get that. I would watch in envy, how people could get such big opening CL's. I thought I'd never get there.

It use to be you could re-use a hp from PenFed. Not sure if that practice is still available. Many of us double dipped off the original hp. I know when I locked my report, I got a 50k car loan and a 16200 cc at the time. Some would get 2 cc and let them age together.

I opened a savings and checking account with them in 2018 and just left it there. Otherwise nothing special.
