I have no idea but thanks! @Curious_George2. I am not so sure the credit score had anything to do with it, but who knows. After thinking about it, I'm figuring since I only asked for a small amount initially with the 5k, someone (or some algorithm) reviewed it after the decline and decided, "Well, it's not like they asked for much and it's a 10 year old account. We will throw a bone and add 1k to be nice." 😂 I've let the worry go after thinking on it. If I did get chopped, I would just move on. It's silly to even worry about it.
