So I have Care Credit, Amazon, and Walmart with Synchrony.
Care Credit - opened July 2017 with $500 SL
Amazon & Walmart - opened December 2017 with $200 SL
I've requested numerous Care Credit CLIs and have been denied. Today I went on each website and requested to double my limit on each and was denied, so I called the backdoor number to request CLI on all 3 and was again denied.
So I decided to get creative.
I went on Care Credit and requested a $750 limit. Approved. $1500. Approved. $3000. Approved for $3600. $6000. Approved. $12000. Approved for counter offer of $7000.
Then I went on Amazon and requested a $500 limit. Denied. $400. Denied. $300. Approved. $600. Approved. $1200. Approved for counter offer of $1000.
Then I went on Walmart and cut to the chase. Requested $250 limit. Denied from the boot.
All in all, I can't complain. I walked away with an extra $7300, but dang.. what a difficult process. Had I not been persistant and just kept going, I'd have never received a single bump!
Congrats! I almost didn't believe you so I went and tried it, myself. It actually worked!
I had a $1000 limit with my Carecredit card. Asked for $1250. Got $1500. Asked for $2000, got $2400. Asked for $3000, got $3600. Asked for $4000 got $4800. Asked for $6000, got $7000. After that, it gave me a 7-10 day message.
I should probably mention that just last week I had asked for a Carecredit CLI to $10K and was declined.
Fascinating.

Did they Hard pull when you worked your magic online?
Pretty sure it's a SP. Last week when I did my $10k request with them and was turned down, I didn't see any new HPs show up.
I literally did them back to back. I was initially requesting double limit ($1000 on $500) and denied by request button, live chat, AND backdoor phone. Denied across the board.
So I went in and tried just $750, and was approved... process and results documented above.. within a minute I went from $500 to $7000
Same with Amazon.. went from $200 to $1000 in 30 seconds.
I don't see any HP yet from CreditKarma / Experian.. YMMV. Sometimes I get notifications right away, others it takes time..
