Congrats on the nice bump!
Just got the letter in the mail today. My redcard is being upgraded to the Target Mastercard.
Congrats on your CLI and Target MasterCard approval!!

It's been a while, like late 2019 I think? I don't update income or anything with them any more, the Redcard works just fine for what I need it to do. It's just funny how for some there is a magical threshold but for others there isn't.
Yup, 2019 seems right. Here is my history:
Apr 2014 $500 SL
Oct 2014 $1000
Aug 2016 $1400
Jun 2017 $4000 & MC conversion
Dec 2017 $5000
Jun 2018 $7000
Dec 2018 $9000
Jun 2019 $11000
Dec 2019 $13000

Oddly, I had some things going on in my personal life and forgot about the payment due date. I made it 2 days late, oops. My limit went from $2900.00 up to $5,000. An increase of $2100.00. I'm assuming this is a pretty decent CLI for Target. So, does anyone think this will trigger that magical change from Redcard to the Target Mastercard, or do they even offer that anymore?
Congrats on the CLI. Hopefully, you get the MC product conversion soon.

Congrats on the CLI and the MC upgrade! IIRC, my CL went from $1900 to $5k with the MC upgrade. For a while, I was getting very consistent CLIs every 6 months.
I haven't used this card much outside of Target as the rewards aren't that competitive. However, the Target MC has no FTFs, so it's not a horrible option for international purchases (that was my last Target MC use outside store).

IIRC, it would be under $600/month. Often, we would pay the Target bill immediately. As in leave the check-out area and head to the CS area to pay with a check. When it was converted, I used it for fuel purchases too. TD is hard to figure out. I consider myself lucky on this card.
Truer words have never been spoken about TD. I've had my Target card since 18. I started with a limit of $300. Got as high as $2200 in 2020 and then 2021 I caught a CLD down to $2000. I've been stuck there ever since.
