I'm shocked right now. I had something trigger myfico with an activity notifcation. Target increased my credit line to 400. I've had this card since 2008 and it has been stuck at $200. I haven't asked for an increase nothing. I have used the card about once a month and pay in full almost every month since I've had it. It was a complete surprise.
Little victories.

Congrats, and interesting.
They've recently added the blurb about updating your income to be considered for a CLI. I've waffled on closing it because it's so small and a PITA. I did update income etc. It'll be interesting to see if anything comes from it.
Ahhhhh you know what? When I called them back in January about something they asked me about my income. I had completely forgetten about it. I guess they are starting to roll out increases now! I use it for groceries for the 5% but that's it. It's such a low amount that it makes it really worthless.

Yeah, the low limit and the fact that I can't get alerts when DH spends money there makes it a black hole.
"Honey, what did you buy at Target 3 weeks ago?" "I dunno, stuff?"
I can't see my previous post, I probably already said this but I am successful with SM there, so we use that now. Still can't get texts, but I check it since we use it regularly for gas and more.
ETA: Heh, I just logged in and I got a $500 CLI, which now makes the limit 9% of a several of my limits and 6.5% of my highest limit. Good times.

Why not just use Mint? It'll track transactions from your target card (as well as all other cards and bank accounts etc), that way you can see it usually within a day or two of any usage. It can show all transactions from all accounts, or you can click on individual accounts to check their usage.
Congrats! The people who are seeing lots of CLI's on Target Red Card are extremely lucky. I was hoping I would get an auto increase this last month because they prompted me to enter new financial info and my EX report is clean and I see them soft pulling my EX report frequently. Its like why? They arent going to do anything!
Congrats on your CLI..
Target was one of my first CC, with a $200 limit since back in 2008, I believe. No matter how many times I called and asked, they never raised the limit, so eventually I just gave up. In December of last year, I was close to hitting the limit (since it's such a low CL, I typically max it out and pay it back in full most months - I buy a lot of stuff there), and needed to check how much I had available. Looked it up on the phone, and surprise surprise, they raised it to $700.
I was shocked but very happy. I hadn't called them to ask about an increase in well over a year.
It remains my lowest CL across the board, but since I visit the store/buy there so often, I don't mind.
Congrats on your increase!
Congrats on the CLI
