Well I broke down and requested via telephone a credit limit increase on my clear points rewards card. I have had this card for 10 months and no auto CLI. They asked me how much I wanted and I asked for a 2k increase. I was afraid to ask for more than that because my SL was only 900. They told me it would be a hard pull, asked my income, and said that I would hear within 7-10 days if the request was approved or why it was denied. I will update this post with my results.
Hope your increase comes through!
Did they already do the hard pull? Hope you get it!
I requested a CLI a few months back. You will most likely receive the hard pull tomorrow. If approved you should see an update to your online account a few hours later. A confirmation letter is sent in the mail. Good luck !
< fingers crossed >
I checked this morning and still no increase. No hard pull either. If you usually see the increase after a few hours then I was probably denied because it's been about 15 hours.

You won't see anything until (~5-6hrs) after the hard pull notification, if you get alerts.
We are in the midst of a raging pandemic, I would expect delays in processing time.
Just got a notification that a hard pull was done on my credit report.
My credit line was increased from 900 to 3K which is the total credit line i requested (2.1K to add to 900). I maybe could have asked for more and got it, but I was afraid to with my SL being the smallest I've ever heard anyone getting from BBVA. I am so shocked and grateful this is my favorite rewards card but it was my smallest limit and it made using the card more troublesome having to keep making payments all the time. I was very disappointed when I didn't get an auto increase at the 7 and 9 month marks as others have gotten occasionally; but I'll take that hard pull because now my credit limit is more usable now. WOO HOO! I'll probably apply again in a year and next time I'm asking for 10
. I have a chapter 7 BK discharge from 2017 and got this card in 2019 and now have been granted a increase. My other accounts are all 30% or less and this BBVA card has been maxed out every month since i got it racking those triple and sometimes 8X reward points. My credit score is 704 EXP 708 TU and they pulled TU. When i opened the account my balances on my other cards were reporting 30% or less and my scores were around 670 when BBVA approved me 10 months ago. I hope this helps anyone with a BBVA credit card.
