HP's for the same product category are good for 90 days. This was told to me by a supervisor/loan officer when I called in before apping for my last CLI on 12/21 (my HP expired on 12/23) to was important to verify before I submitted the application. That being said, I was also told (more than once) since September, it's all products are covered by the HP for 90 days. Again YMMV, but definitely nothing about that time frame being shorter than 90days.
Do you think that the the same HP can be use to get a personal loan not the PLOC ? I think I saw a post in the past they pulled another HP to get a personal loan?
Thank you EVERYBODY

Surprise.. Surprise.. I just got it in the mail. Wooohoo!! Unique looking card, numbers and name aren't raised.
Is this typical CU? My Debit from MCU is the same name and number aren't raised.
So it is a week from mailing.. They said it was mailed Thursday and it arrived a week after.
I am so happy you received it I don't why it's not raised. When my gets here I will let you know what I think about the looks of it

@Anonymous is a good question @baller4life may know, she's kinda the resident guru on PenFed. From a finance perspective they would definitely be grouped differently.
Credit Cards & PLOC = Unsecured "Revolving" credit lines (usually) ...Your monthly payments vary based on the amount you have borrowed against the PLOC or charged to the card. Not a "fixed or term" loan with set payments.
vs
Auto Loan / Personal Loan / Secured or Unsecured (Signature Loan) = a fixed payment / term loan where the entire amount is disbursed up front and your monthly payment is calaculated based on the entire amount and the term/length for repayment.
baller4lifeI I wish you were here to answer my question lol I been looking for hours for the answer
Thanks
baller4life you can send a private message if you want...
Also this is the PenFed Data Share Thread which has a TON of info and is regularly posted too by members, probably an answer to your question and it would be towards the end of the thread (newer posts) if something has changed in there HP policy.
Thank you but that's is what I been reading lol not much info on the Personal loan. There is alot info about the PLOC but not the personal loan opition.
