Now that I have received my US Bank Cash+ in the mail, I wanted to give people a little more information to those who may want to know (this info might prove helpful to people who are interested in applying).
1) Even though my TU FICO is 709, US Bank has its own scoring model ranging from 309 to 839. My TU is 691 on that scale. This is one of the lowest scores I've seen get approved -- very surprising.
2) The application was a single TU pull, even after it was sent to manual review.
3) My interest rate is 21.99% (icky, but I never carry a balance anyway, and I was just thrilled to be approved).
4) Shallow comment alert: the card is really pretty in person! The pictures of the card simply do not do it justice.
I was recently approved as well and when I received the card and info in the mail, I had a 699 EQ score with their model. I thought that was interesting as my EQ Fico is around 715.
Congrats!!
I was curious...how did you get your credit scores to
go up so much in what seems to be not very long at all? Btw, that's so great!! I'd appreciate any advice!
