US Bank Approval, I think

Hi everyone, long time lurker just wanted to ask a question.  This morning I was approved for the Cash+ card.  I applied online through my US Bank online banking account (I have a checking acct and another cc with them).

I was insta-approved, for 5k sl, with the prime apr and a certain limit for balance transfers yadayadayada...  I clicked accept offer.  As I did that I got to the final screen notifying me that I should receive my card in 7-10 business days, but also US Bank may need to verify other things.  It was the boilerplate approval page for US Bank.  Literally at the same time I accepted, I got an email saying "we've received your application, you will receive more info in 7-10 business days."  At this point I'm wondering what's going on...usually credit card approvals are followed immediately with overly saccharine emails about "welcome" or some such crap.  This email seemed odd and uncertain.

Any reason for concern?  Also, in my online banking account, the new Cash+ card has not yet shown up.  Granted its only been a few hours, but I know some people have it show up instantly.

Re: US Bank Approval, I think

Thank you all.  I'm excited.  2018 will be my biggest year ever for credit apps.  This is my first.

I guess my only question is can I choose the same 5x categories quarter after quarter?  I guess I'll find out soon enough.
