I'm weak... I did it... I told myself I wasn't going to... They tempted me with the shiny...
I had previously posted in the CC forum about potential future cards after I garden awhile... One intrigued me, the USBC+ with the two 5% cats, 2% everyday cat, and 1% all others. I pretty much set this as my next card. Wouldn't you know it, but a pre-approval for that very card came through... I took it... I applied..
I got approved! $1k SL, not the greatest, but a start. Even better? They gave me 18% APR (after the 0% APR runs out) which is in stark contrast to the 24-26% my others just gave me. They also only did an HP on TU (for 5 points), which I only had 1 inquiry on so my inquiries are evenly spaced too! TU: 2, EQ: 3, EX: 2. Beyond all the cash back categories, they also have the same SUB I got from my CFU, $150 for spending $500 in 3 months, psh... easy.
This also gave me the slight push I needed to hit my CL goal of 10k+, I have a total of $10.3k to claim as my own. Definately time to begin getting my hands dirty with some gardening! Bit of a sad note, my wife just applied for her first CC from our bank, even with my income and our savings on the app, they denied her. So I approved her for AU status on 3 of my cards, take that, bank! Maybe in a year, I'll drop a thread here in the approval section on her behalf. 
Congrats on the new Cash+ card! The 5% for utilities and soon to be cable/internet/streaming are great perks. The 2% everyday categories can be beat by others, but still an excellent card. Is your 0% apr for purchases or just bt? Mine came with the BT offer for 12 months and the same SUB after $500.
