USAA approved me for their Rate Advantage Visa Platinum card with a $8000 limit. I honestly wasn't expecting to get approved as Discover denied me 2 months ago for a CLI.
I also messed up with them back in 2017 and they closed my other credit card I had with them because I was so far behind, but I did pay off the debt owed even though it was closed instead of letting it go to collections. So maybe that put me on good terms with them again?
When I applied I believe they thought it was fraudulent because they immediately locked my account and had me send in proof. Afterwards I received my card. I've never had that happen before.
My credit score at the time I applied was 692. Not the best, but not the worse either.
Either way I'm happy.

Congrats on getting back with USAA and a nice CL! They can be a bit conservative compared to NFCU, and I'm not a fan that they do a HP for CLI. So a decent starting CL is a good sign
