Decided to hit the USAA Visa app button for the first time in 2014. After 7 denials from USAA for a second unsecured credit card, I was approved. $7,000 right out the gate. Recently closed my two secured cards with USAA ($5,000 each). Other than that, there wasn't much change in credit report. I'm doing the happy dance
Very nice - congrats!
Congrats!!
Congrats on your new card
@Everyone,
These Boards are fantastic. I only wish I had discovered them early in 2012. You all are a great resource. Keep up the great advice!
Congratulations!!! What kind of scores do you have? I have been looking to get a card with them
@buc23,
My Equifax Faco score was 686 at time they pulled inquiry. I have EQ credit monitoring and they sometimes give me my EQ Fico score which, in my case, seems to run about 9-14 points higher than my Faco score. I have an auto loan with them and had two secured ($10K total on secured cards) with them. I just closed the two secured cards in November and December 2012. The auto loan has been open since April 2012. I'm sure that helped considering my score isn't the greatest.
Congratulations!
@MsLadyRover,
Thanks. 11 months and counting for that elusive Duck card.
