I was very apprehensive about my young file and excessive EX inquiries(11 in 1 year, 25 in 2 years!), I thought to app after 1 more inq fell(why did I apply for Sony Visa on 10/20 last year lol), but to hell with it, just cold apped(no preapproval).
SL could've been better but still glad I got approved on my first WF card, and rent is lower than 600 so no problem there. APR is horrendous 27.24 but I pay in full anyway. Hope to transfer rent points to airline.
Still havering over which travel card to app, originally thought of Barclay Red but just checking Google Flight, it isn't really that cheap. And AA is the cheapest on Expedia, but does it count, will I earn or can redeem AA miles on Expedia, not on AA or other partner website? Hawaiian Barclay bonus is 70k, etc.
DPs on my sig. Chase Credit Journey already reported lol, that was fast!
Before the BILT card, the only popular card like it was the AmEx SPG card before the Marriott/SPG meger in 2018.
The old SPG points could be transfered to most of the airline partners, even some of the airlines not in any alliances. So a lot people were happy to put all non category spending on the SPG card. We considered the 1:1 to most airline was better than the Citi DC 2% CB. And we could top off any airline loyalty programs, so miles would not expire. Sure things are different now.
So for anyone who is a serious traveler, BILT card is no brainer. It is about the only CC that can transfer to the large travel partners.
WooHoo!! Congratulations on your Bilt Approval!!👏🏼🍾🥂
Congrats on your Approval!
Congratulations on your Bilt Mastercard approval!
Congrats on your Wells Fargo Bilt MC approval

Congrats on the approval! Since you'll mostly be using the card for rent I guess the APR won't matter as much.
