I received a mailer from Wells Fargo last night–probably the third or fourth, at this point–about the Wells Fargo Active Cash card. Coming with a $200 bonus on $1000 spend and a pre-qualified 19.99% APR, I figured what the heck. I have a project I'm working on and I know I'd blow through the $1000 in no time. Saving $200 on it plus having 15 months of no interest made it pretty appealing.
I also was aware of the Fnbo Evergreen card, which advertised a $200 bonus, but their site wasn't working for me, so oh well. Maybe I'll double-up. I haven't gotten new cards in a while.
I don't know what they pulled, yet, in total (so far, only EX is alerting), but EQ8 is 732, TU8 is 741, and EX8 is 724. 4 inquiries over the last 2 years with three of them being for our mortgage (triple-pull) in Februrary and one from Citi for the Best Buy card on EX.
Starting CLI is $9,000 and APR is 19.99%. I might still go back and try to Fnbo later today; their pre-approval site presented $15,000 at 14.99%. 😅
