Whoa! My first Amex! And Chase Freedom! App spree!

Hi folks!

I've said it before, and I'll say it again... but THANK YOU for all of the advice and good vibes around here!!! Now, to the good news!

I started with:

FP 4/11 $300

Orchard 10/11 $300

Cap1 1/13 $500

Walmart 6/13 $400

And as of today I've added:

Amex Plat NPSL

Amex PRG NPSL (I like te rewards of PRG and the perks of plat - worth the AF for me)

Chase Freedom 10K limit

Discover It 5-7 Day message

The EO at Cap1 is also looking at a SP CLI for me and added miles/rewards to my card. What an amazing day! Thank you so much, all! Amex has been a goal of mine for years... YEARS. I know it's just a charge, but it's a great place to start!

Well, yes I do.  Chase was good enough to call me a few years ago to inquire why I was not using them much.  I told them about my 2% I get for SamsClubDiscover.  About that time they told me about Freedom.  I knew enough to know I wanted to keep the account open and saw this as a heads up.  So they switched me to Freedom and I"ve been using them semi regularly ever since.  Hard not to like $0 AF and 5% on some decent categories 2/4 qrts per yr.  Note many of my cards are rather new, as I became educated on the options here.  Nevertheless I had some decent cards, pretty much by accident, from the early part of the century.

I would like them even more if it weren't for the exceptional Discover Mall, where your % back exceeds other Malls in several stores. 

So congrats on Discover too.
