So I convinced my wife to apply for 4 cards while we were at a NFCU branch opening a Savings and 529 account for our 9 year old. While she was talking to the banker, i applied for these cards in this order:
Discover it - Approved - Not sure of CL $4k - Did the pre-qual first and Chrome also came up. She doesn't have a 5% category card and wanted it for gas.
Citi DC - Approved for $7.6k and $100 bonus after sp ending $500 - Nothing came up on the pre-qual link
BOFA Cash Rewards - Your application is under review - Got a pending status and reference # Update on 6/5 - Approved for $1k.
AMEX BCE - Aproved for $5k with $150 bonus after spending $1k
Not a bad run 
she hardly applies for anything and always keeps her cards at $0 balance or 1% UTL. I thought of these cards specifically so that she can meet the $2,000 spending in 3 months with no problems. After i told her she got approved for almost all of them, she was like "meh" lol, she's funny. She does like the fact that she'll get $250 in bonus AND another $150 if she gets approved for the BOFA Cash rewards. She will be calling today to see what's up with the app.
Her scores dropped 14 points that day. Her scores are in the 725s and ch7 D/C on 10/2010.

I'll echo that the Citi approval is indeed a nice start! Hopefully a call to BoA will get that approval rolling on the Cash Rewards.
