thanks sonson! and definitely time to garden for at least 6 months. I jut found out i was HP again on EX so thats 2 HP from AMEX in 5 days plus BofA on the 13th so 3 inquiries in a month is enough for me. Only good thing is that the other 2 bureaus were not touched (just checked TU and EQ).
awww! Congrats! I'm still bummed about being denied for the BCE....Seeing this makes me want to try to app for the BCE again...lol. Dammit the temptation...lol.

sorry to hear that zeus....what was the reason for denial (if you dont mind me asking). I cannot remember if you had posted the reasons already.

To be honest, I don't even know...lol. I called and they told me, but they gave me a whole bunch of reasons....but VERY SMALL reasons...I can barely remember any of them to be completely honest...lol. I'm just waiting for the letter to come in the mail. The rep said something about Internal score since they pulled my report in the beginning of march, my EXP score being too low, she said it was 690 something....Too many inq...and I think that might be it...but i think those were the small reasons (minus the score). She mentioned others too that I can't remember. She was going through a LIST...lol. But the thing is, I don't really have anything that she could really name off. I have ZERO baddies on my report. Have NEVER been late. The ONLY thing that could've affected my score was my recent credit accts that I opened, inq's, and my balance on my Citi Card.

Interesting...your siggy looks great and in reality a 690+ for the BCE doesnt seem too low. I have seen people here get approved for AMEX revolvers with scores in the 680's even 670's but like you said, they have their own internal scoring. Were those new accounts that u opened less than 6 months? When i applied first for the green charge i had just opened a BofA that was already reporting. Everything else was longer than 6 months old. I have about 16 inquiries on EX but only BofA since August 2012. I guess like everyone can agree, its different for everyone or as they say YMMV.

yea...I mean, my WF and 1FBUSA CC's have been opened since july and august of 08. Amex and citi was June and July of 12...Then CSP and Freedom was just this month. BUT, the freedom I got AFTER I got denied the BCE. The CSP, I don't think it reported yet. but I wanted to do the app BEFORE it reported so it didn't show a new acct yet. Because I don't know how much more that would hurt me.

I ended up taking an alternative route for my BCE. I applied for the Gold Delta Skymiles and after a few weeks I called Amex and had no trouble converting it to the BCE. The call itself probably took 3 minutes. The letter said my EXP score was 701 at the time, but I didn't want to risk a denial. I hear they can be sticklers with the BCE/BCP.
