Congratulations on your First Tech CU card approval!
I'm very interested to see if they will unsecure it later or if this would help you to get approved for their regular cards by application! Keep us informed!
So ... 133 accounts now? Do you mind telling us how much in limits that amounts to? Inquiring minds want to know. Lol
First off thanks for reponding to my post @Aim_High
It's allways great to hear from you.
I have been reading your credit wisdom coming up on 5 years now.
So to answer the TCL question I want to put this in context.
I have gotten 80% or so in the last five years so I want to
tell anyone reading this that this is not
the way to obtain and keep credit.
Read @Aim_High and all the credit gurus on here for those data points.
I weighed all my plastic today and it was 1.6 pounds on my digital scale :-)
That is counting ofcorse all the requisite dedit cards I have to get from joining so many
Credit Unions.
In dollars it is about 910K
Got alot of PLOC's also
Credit begats Credit when you reach a certain point I beleive.
Just gotta know when that point is.
Also you know I'm just a collector for the most part.
Best to you and your family,
Cheers

Very nice, @UH_HUH. Thanks for those details and the compliments on my credit advice. I enjoy helping others along their journey. You and I are doing somewhat of the same thing adding credit more for the experience and sport of it, but we're just doing it a little differently. I'm impressed with your sheer number of accounts. Do you have any system to track and use them to prevent closure?
Interesting about the 1.6 pounds of plastic! Lol
I've never heard a member express their credit in pounds! (So when you go to the doctor, do you tell them to subtract 1.6 lbs if you have your wallet in your pocket?) I can only imagine their eyes if you pulled out the wallet and showed them the cards to explain the weight. Only a My-FICO'er.
Enjoy and keep us informed about the potential transition to their regular cards.
