I swore Discover hated me....but that all changed.
I receive an auto CLI in November 2016. Requested a CLI on December 23rd and and was denied (insufficient experience with current credit line).
The day after christmas I went from 4,900 to 7400 (weird). Last Friday 12/31/16 I felt like being needy
so I hit the CLI button and was instantly sent to the 2 day message. Lo and behold, I went from 7400 to 8900. Now that I think I squeezed every bit of CLI from them
..............................I guess I'll wait for an additional 30/60 days (I make no promises lmao).
Awesome!! How long have you had your card?

Thank you!
Interesting that you received an auto-CLI in November, but then got denied on December 23rd. Usually a request after an auto CLI is met with another CLI, even if it's the same day. Not always, though, clearly. I've never heard of someone getting denied for a CLI though and then receiving an auto CLI 3 days later, that's a first for me.
Anyway, nice job with that Discover growth over the last couple of months!
Congrats! Loving me some Discover!! And I see you are too!

I said the same thing. I was so confused to why they denied me but increased it a few days later. Maybe they were already processing it? iunno, but regardless, I'm happy ![]()
Congrats on your Disco success. I've had my card for nearly 7 months and has only grown by $2,500. Maybe that's ok to most but I guess I was expecting faster growth.
