Bumping thread pre-possible-app:
@Kforce(and everyone) do you still think perhaps next week is the right time to try the WS app and lose that pretty 803 score? Or any more recent second thoughts that I ought to wait longer?
Also, my last Citi CLI was mid-Oct, they have a 6 months in between general wait, however I assume based on "bank counting" this would be too soon to request another, and Citi being inqu adverse, I'd assume requesting another after a WS app would be off the table for a while? (Just checking to make sure I don't miss an opportunity I should be taking. )

I am still that turtle.
Think a couple more months so that the youngest is 12,
if we are talking the "Webstaurant - FNBO".
That way you would also have the 6 months to ask for CL on Citi, before the App.
Knowing how unlucky you are, (recent Discover check's etc), you should wait.
It's not far now, you will make it.
Ugh...and here I groomed all my accounts to be ready to app....again..... I mean I can't deny that I'm unlucky, and FNBO is FNBO, but, still...
Does it affect your opinion at all that the past 3 months have been my biggest spend months for the year at WS so if store spend affects anything (maybe it doesn't) the past 3 months would look great, while April/May/June right before the next app are probably going to be my some of my lowest spend months of the year and might not look as enticing? That of course depends on if you think store spend matters much at all on the odds.
And, you really do think 9-10mo for youngest is a potentially significant enough metric vs 12-13mo to warrant said wait? There won't be any other milestone in that time.

There is a FICO score boost when AoYA passes the 12 month mark.
Then again, I got my FNBO Evergreen with 9 months of credit history, when my most recent card was just 3 months old. I don't know my EX BC 9 at the time of applying, but it was in the 750s the month after. My EX FICO 8 was running about 30 points lower.
My youngest revolving account just aged past the 12 month mark. My FICO8 EX went up 9 points and EQ went up 7 points. I don't have access to an updated TU score yet.
I am also planning to apply for a new card, but I will wait until next month to make sure that I will be treated as 0/12 when applying. Many people on this board will say that is more conservative than necessary, but I see no harm in waiting 4 more weeks just to be sure.

This would depend if you believe they see / look at your store spend.
If they do you might be correct if they don't another short delay might be worth it.
I have no guess as to how/what the application looks at or what they want to see.
I thought you had it the first time, shows how little I know.
I can give you a us b data point. I was approved for altitude connect visa last week. They pulled tu, where I was 0/6, 2/12 hard pulls, youngest card 4 months, youngest account 1 month (ssl). I think my fico8 was 768, the ssl bump didn't kick in until April fools.
I used
to determine that they would pull tu. That was helpful, I left the other bureaus frozen.
Good luck.
