I did it for two revolvers a few months back and I imagine it also will work for a revolver and a charge card. As always YMMV, so if you aren’t willing to take two HPs, then don’t chance it.
It worked for me in April 2018. I got the Gold Card (then it was PRG) and the Everyday Preferred on the same day with only one HP. The applications were online about 10-15 minutes apart.

I applied for the BCP (revolver) and the PRG (charge) the same day in 2017 and was approved for both. I don't think AMEX has changed its policies on that, but YMMV. My EX score was around 740 or so at the time. Good luck to you if you decide to apply.
