Hello @Anonymous, welcome to the forums.
Please reference the above thread for further details on the latest SoFi CC - of noteworthy it's issued as MC, not Visa.
Also, it hasn't been fully released to the general public as far as applications go. Plenty of individuals are still on a wait list. Some have been able to apply directly via SoFi without a direct or pre-approved invitation though.
Has anyone been paying attention to when the points for purchases become are available for redemption? I assumed points would post for redemption at statement closing, but this DP does not support that:
I had a $35 transaction on Dec. 31st which posted officially on Jan 1st and the rewards for that transaction (35 points) posted for redemption (with 2x multiplier) as of today (1/11), only 10 days later. I redeemed 70 cents to my Money account. The statement closing is end of january so the billing cycle has not ended. I have no statements so this seems off-cycle redemption to me. and I had other charges which have posted so it's not like there is a statement that I'm just not seeing. It would have included points for the other charges if the trigger was a statement closing.
I have a few more points that should post in theory, in the coming days. Not sure if this was a bug. SoFi doesn't really spell out how this should work in their cardholder documents.
I just noticed that this bank of Missouri held a $1 payment for 7 days....7 days folks . $1. My available credit mysteriously crept up by $1 and I thought there is no way that payment from last week just released to my available credit.
Also, currently the SoFi credit card does not sync with Mint or Personal Capital. I think the problem is that the aggregators don't know that SoFi has a credit card.
It's a cute card, but there is a ways to go. They need to release credit line faster. They need to show statement closing date in the app. They need to release credit instantly when payments come from the Money account. Somebody needs to make sure the card is available for Mint and budgeting app users.
Edit: SoFi I hope you are listening. We want to like you.
This card has a "lower your APR 1%" after 12 on time payments. Has anyone called to find out if that allows the APR to go below the 12.99% minimum that is offered? That would be pretty unique if so. and would they allow it to reach 0% APR? surely not lol.
Sidenote, if SoFi can pay us to hold the card, then it makes a Citi DC look like an annual fee card

My understanding is that TBOM is fairly conservative so it's possible that for a variety of folks who might be looking for this to be the FOTM (whenever apps are open to the masses) may end up with lower than expected SLs. But, GOs are always welcome 😎. I believe they pull EX.
@FinStar ,
What is a 'GO'?
DP for SoFi points.
Direct Deposits give 5 points (it looks like from the info on my points here) for each one that is a "real DD" you get 5 points.
I don't know if I'm able to get it more than once per month (I will have to see for next week), but I wanted share the data point in case anyone wants some spare change for making a direct deposit.

Yes 😂😂 @CreditCuriosity @is correct. I meant GP. I'll edit my post.
Well, I finally got my card in the mail. Side eye to the USPS. But after 30 days, there is no more daily login bonus of 5 pts. I'm down to 1 pt per day log in. 😤
Yeah I just noticed mine was the same. Only 1 point.
