I know, I know ... why take a card with no initial promos, but I was getting twitchy in the garden

Instant approval, $18k @ 13.99%
That's 1% higher APR vs. my Citi DoubleCash, but it will come down 1% in 12 months, so will be a match.
Let's see what kind of promos they offer, worse case scenario, another $0 FTF card that earns something.
Let's see what kind of promotions they offer, could be interesting.
@MJ-san How long where you on this wait-list? Where you already a member with them holding other product?
As an FYI @credit_endurance ...I had waited less than 60 days from the time I opened a "Money" account to the day I was notified that I was able to apply. Others have waited longer, some less. I don't think we have definitive DP's on timing yet.

There is no specific wait time. I think from the time I opened my invest account to the day I was able to apply for the card was less than 2 weeks.
I opened my SoFi around a month ago. Signed up immediately for wait list and after a few weeks it just let me apply. No email sent or anything. Just checked a couple of times a week on the app.
Hey @MoneyBurns @cashorcharge @macinjosh thanks for sharing your data points. I just recently opene up a cash savings account so will patiently be waiting on the invite.
@credit_endurance I was on the waitlist for a month or so. I have a mortgage and deposit account with them.
Strange how they are rolling this out as mentioned had no products with sofi when i got invite and didnt join the wait list either... i did check rates on personal loan and student loan for free gift cards so i assume that is how they got me and invite. Also card reported to my CR today about 3-4 days after first statement closed
I noticed SoFi has changed the language on the make a payment page. It used to say payments credited in 3 to 5 business days. It now says 24 to 36 hours. Interesting.
Edit: I was mistaken!
For what it's worth, in my limited time, customer service has been incredibly friendly. Seems to be based out of Nebraska every time I've called.

Yup- seems that they use FirstData/FiServ as their service provider ... they are pretty good.
