AAA Rewards Visa's moving from BoA to Comenity

I got the cards last week and this morning created a presence at aaa.com/advantage and signed on. Went to add alerts and get the message "technical glitch yada yada yada". Tried again a few minutes ago and same glitch. 

Also tried confirming my phone and email and that doesn't work either, perhaps the two issues are related. 

Odd also that my Visa is not signature, but it refers to my signature visa all over the site. All my other cards are either signature or world. It really doesn't matter to me, but found it odd. 

They kept my CL the same as BofA, but not my 7.9% fixed rate. I'm not sure exactly what the new rate is but saw 16.9-25.9% range.  I haven't had a balance in 30 years so the rate doesn't matter. I only kept the old BofA AAA card because of that fixed rate and sad to see it gone forever. 

First impressions tell me Comenity sux! lol

Finally received my new AAA Comenity card transferred from BOA today Tuesday Oct 11.

Kept same CL.

I activated ok. Then, I registered ok and received an email "Thanks for registering".

Then, I chose paperless statements and received an email "Thanks for going paperless".

Then, a red banner at top of webpage says to confirm your information.

So I click and it say we sent a link to your email, but no email arrives.

A clicked on send link again, but no email arrives.

Not happy with Comenity.

And I don't see my statement closing date, so how can I do AZEO?

Comenity AAA website is very rudimentary.

Can anyone tell me if the AAA credit card has any AAA benefits?  I tried to find it, but found nothing.

We had this card many years ago with BofA.  But cancelled.

I do not consider any of the above benefits AAA related.  I could get most of the above benefits from other cards.  When folks think about AAA, we always consider car towing, roadside services like out of gas, drained battery and lost keys etc.  Sure travel discounts too, but with all the online booking, most people do not even use AAA travel any longer.

To me, the AAA co-brand is near meaningless.  If I pay an AF to have Marriott card, I expect Marriott benefits.  Same with United Airline card.  No AAA benefits from the AAA card.

You get 3% AAA purchases! Meaning if you need extra towing or need a new battery or tire etc from the tow truck that services you or their shop you can get 3%! Or probably purchases from AAA stores etc...

Is not much but what else you really buying from AAA! I think this card is more promotional advertisement in spirit of AAA.

They don't even require AAA membership for this card!

That is good to know.  That is about the only AAA benefit.

I'd think they can offer like 25%-50% discount on AAA membership.  5% on all AAA spending and extra towing services etc.  They can even offer an AF card with AAA membership.  Like a hotel card.

This is a good card.  5% all year long up to $7,000 spend in gas per year is huge.  3% cashback in top categories like grocery, restaurants, and travel, uncapped, is unmatched as far as I am aware (short of a 3% everything card like AOD).

Again, it all depends on what you carry in your wallets.

With Chase Freedom, Citi Custom Cash, Citi Premier, AmEx Gold and all the "AF" cards I carry, I find the 3% is nothing on grocery, restaurants, travel etc.  Not even the 5% on gas.  There are many ways I can beat the 5% on gas.

All those categoried spendings have been taken care of.

US Bank takes care of the 3x on mobile wallet.

Citi DC and Cap1 Venture X round up the rest of the non category spending.
